Farrah Hart

Public Health Consultant, Greater London Authority

Farrah works as a Consultant in Public Health in the Greater London Authority’s Group Public Health Unit, where she leads on Community Safety and Young People. As part of this she represents the Mayor of London on the Fast-Track Cities Steering Group; advises the Mayor and London Assembly on matters relating to sexual health and HIV; and convenes London partners around emerging issues such as chemsex harms.

In previous roles, she commissioned sexual health and HIV support services in London, secured ongoing funding for local HIV CNS services, and used a behavioural insight lens to examine STI testing behaviours in men who have sex with men.

She was part of the MJ award-winning team that digitally transformed sexual health services within London, including the Sexual Health London e-service that allows London residents to order free STI test kits online. She won the Royal Society for Public Health’s 3-Year Health and Wellbeing Award for the Business Healthy scheme, and was also successful in getting Samaritans helpline signs put up on Tower Bridge and London Bridge for the first time.
