Steve Worrall

Steve Worrall is Deputy Director of Positive East. He has worked in the HIV field for over 20 years both in the UK and internationally. He also sits on the steering group of the GMI partnership which brings together a partnership of voluntary sector organisations delivering HIV prevention across London. He sits on several HIV and sexual health boards in east London and is the current Deputy Chair of the Tower Hamlets Health and Well-being Forum.

He has a background in psychology and has co-authored a number of reports and presentations around HIV, as well as a training manual for young people and research. He has also been involved in other areas including being a hospital governor and the vice-chair of an independent visitors’ association working with people in police detention.
