East Anglia Peer Integration Manager at Positively UK

Jaime Sylla is a health equity advocate and media practitioner with over a decade of experience in HIV services, community engagement, and public health. He currently manages the East Anglia Peer Integration Programme at Positively UK, leading a team of caseworkers who support people living with HIV across three Integrated Care Boards: Milton Keynes & Luton, Mid & South Essex, and Cambridgeshire & Peterborough.

Jaime has held both leadership and frontline roles at GMFA (as Project Manager for Big Up), Positive East, and METRO Charity, delivering initiatives focused on LGBTQ+ communities, people living with HIV, and underrepresented groups.

He serves as a Lived Experience Representative on the Fast Track Cities London Leadership Group, is a member of UK-CAB, and co-chairs the VERDI Mpox Study. He also contributes to the BHIVA ‘Not in Care’ guidelines group, helping to shape national HIV policy through lived experience.

An award-winning filmmaker, Jaime uses storytelling and multimedia to challenge stigma and amplify community voices. His work is deeply informed by his own intersectional experience and a long-standing commitment to equity and creative advocacy.
