Garry Brough
Programme Manager, Fast-Track Cities London
Garry Brough brings over 25 years of experience in HIV clinical and voluntary sector services to his role as Programme Manager for Fast-Track Cities London, with a longstanding focus on expanding access to peer-delivered support for people living with HIV.
A founding member of the Fast-Track Cities London’s Leadership Group, Garry served as the Lived Experience Representative for its first five years. During that time, he led innovative programmes at Positively UK and the National AIDS Trust (NAT), working to embed peer support within HIV clinics and tackle the stigma faced by people living with HIV – both within healthcare settings and the wider community.
In 2023, Garry joined Fast-Track Cities London as a staff member to lead the Getting to Zero programme, aiming to integrate peer support across all HIV clinics in the capital. This marked a powerful full-circle moment in his career: in 2004, Garry became London and the UK’s first paid in-clinic HIV peer support worker.
