UK & Ireland
The UK and Ireland group of Fast-Track Cities are committed to learning from each other and working together whenever it makes sense to do so.
We have worked with the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID) and the UK Health Security Agency (HSA) to create a national definition for HIV preventable deaths, which culminated in the HIV Action Plan for England 2022-2025.
We have also working together with the National AIDS Trust and BritainThinks, to develop a national survey to understand the public’s attitudes and knowledge about HIV, the results of which were published in July 2021.
Our group of cities have regular planned meetings to keep up to date with the work happening in each city. We also come together for ad hoc UK and Ireland workshops and conferences.
